Why take a refresher course & who is it for?

If you’ve previously completed a 16-hour outdoor first aid course, it’s essential to refresh your skills as often as possible, if you only study first aid principles every 3 years then it wouldn’t be reasonable to expect a slick response. Our refresher course ensures your knowledge remains up-to-date with current best practices and guidelines for outdoor emergencies.

This course has been designed to refresh outdoor first aid skills for leaders, instructors and teachers working in remote areas or outdoor locations and any outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

This is not a regulated qualification, nor does it replace the need to take the full 2 day Outdoor First Aid course every 3 years.
