Lisa has recently completed the Bannau Brycheiniog Ambassador Course, launched in 2022.
It is an incredible, online course designed to provide a better insight into the National Park. It covers topics such as history, geology, myths, legends and tourism. Each section is neatly delivered in bite size pieces with a quiz at the end which you can fit in and complete on your timescale. The course deepens your understanding and appreciation of the National Park and all it has to offer.
Kevin Walker, author of the Nature of the Brecon Beacons, was one of the first to complete the course and this is what he said “The new online ambassador modules are brilliant! There’s lots of great information in easily digestible chunks, and the quiz at the end of each module really helps to fix the learning, making it so much easier to share the knowledge with visitors and locals! Highly recommended.”
We couldn’t agree with him more! The Wales Ambassador programme is growing, at the moment there are ten areas and we will be completing more of them soon. We really hope you will explore some of them in your favourite areas of Wales.
